The Beatles  "Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane"

This is a US vinyl single from 1967 on Capitol 5810.     It comes in it's original picture sleeve.     These songs were huge hits on Billboard.   'Penny Lane' reached # 1 and 'Strawberry Fields Forever' reached # 8.

This is CAP 5810.01 A in Bruce Spizer's book.     It's a East Coast pressing.     The picture sleeve has a straight cut top opening.      On the label the time on 'Penny Lane' is 3:00.

Condition :   Picture sleeve : M-  /  Record : VG+ 

The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+.     There are no scuffs or scratches, but it has very light paper marks.       The labels are clean.    The picture sleeve is VG+.    It has no seam splits, no ring wear, and no writing.    It does have one pin hole at top center.

I started collecting records in 1966.       I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.          I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.     And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care during packaging and do each one personally.      I use hand cut cardboard, which I get from a trucking company.   (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.)      Each piece is 1/2 inch thick and together they are very stronge.       I always remove the record from the picture sleeve and tape them inside a clear plastic record sleeve.      All packages are marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.   

Postage : 

You have to pay for the postage.    I pre-weigh each package and you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.       This record will weigh 6 ounces when ready to ship.  US winners can figure out your own postage costs for US First Class or Media Mail.    I will send it through Paypal and you will get an email with the tracking number.    Overseas winners will get it sent by First Class Mail International.          I will send your record as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM, Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine postage if you win more than one record.    Please wait for my invoice for all of your winnings in one package.
