Description
This is the Beatles 1st Export album Something New On Parlophone CPCS101 with the error “sold in uk” statement on both labels.
This record isn’t in the best of condition but due to its ultra rarity I’m listing it here.
The record jumps for the first seconds on one side and skips for about 10 revolutions on the other side due to a small edge warp. Once through these issues it plays all the way with the odd pop etc, there is some background noise but it doesn’t really intrude that much.
Visually there is dulling of the vinyl and some surface marks especially one on side 1 that doesn’t really interfere the playback, it may benefit a professional clean.
The labels are quite nice with a little wear on the outer edge, the spindle hole is fine with no wear.
The matrix nos.are yeex 7-812 and yeex 8-812.
The stampers are 1G to both sides so the very 1st pressing of this rare record, the KT tax code is stamped on side 2.
The Inner is the correct EMI generic rice paper type.
The cover is the German version with a Parlophone sticker, it is in overall vg condition with some wear etc, there is a small scuff/tear by Georges feet.
Cheap!
