This EXCELLENT German 1st stereo dates from initial September 1964 release on the white/red/gold Odeon label: SMO 83 756
The rim text on each label begins with the words: 'Alle Rechte...'
Matrix numbers: YBEX 50059-1 & YBEX 50060-1

A clean, unblemished pair with numerous faint spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces where the only significant mark in strong daylight being a single long, but non-feeable hairline on side 1. Close examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This well looked-after copy has been played a number of times but is free from any groove/playwear or crackle. My playcheck detected only a few repeating clicks in between tracks 5 & 6 on side 1, but no further noticeable audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A firm, unworn example which retains a clean, high-gloss front laminate free from any significant signs of wear. There are no heavy bumps or bruising to any corner and both opening edges are undamaged. The exposed rear panel is clean with just some minor natural age-toning but no writing or missing paper.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is unworn and fully worded.
