Description
My research suggests that this is a 1968 second pressing of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band.
Side one matrix is XEX 637-1 with G M T vertically at 3 o'clock and 4 at 9 o'clock.
Side two matrix is XEX 638-1 with G M L vertically at 3 o'clock and a couple of characters I can't decipher and an 8 vertically at 9 o'clock.
The outer cover has a couple of small creases and some bumps on the edges and corners relating to it's age.
The insert is in excellent condition.
The inner sleeve is a white (now slightly off white) sleeve which is why I think this is a second pressing rather than a first as it doesn't have the red inner.
The vinyl has no marks or discernible scratches. I haven't played this for 25 years so can't comment on the sound quality. The labels are in good condition with some spindle marks (see photos).
