Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Label/Number: Capitol MAS-2653 (M) Jacket condition: VG+ Record condition: VG Notes: This LP qualifies as one of those that I occasionally sell under the description of "rough but rare". The cover is in decent condition with some ring wear and some seam and corner wear. The labels are in pretty nice condition with a few light spindle marks. On the Side 2 label, the Capitol logo appears to be lightly faded. The vinyl still has good gloss but it has numerous scuffs and scratches that detract from its appearance and warrants the VG grade that I've assigned. Considering its appearance, it plays well with some light surface noise and a few light "ticks and pops". The classic music predominates throughout. As added bonuses, the package still contains a nice copy of the original "cut-outs" insert and the record is still contained in its original pink inner sleeve. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I did play this one as noted above. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to NM; but please read the notes above as I try to note anything that might influence the grading one way or another. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record and hope my feedback speaks well for my grading. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. I ship in cardboard mailers made specifically for records with additional cardboard pads for added protection. Shipping and handling charges are a flat $4.00 for the first LP and $1.00 per additional LP. Overseas shipping on purchases under $50.00 may be sent by USPS First Class Mail International but I will upgrade at the buyer's request. Orders for more than $50.00 will need to be by Priority Mail International. This provides added protection for both the buyer and for me. The price will be the actual shipping costs plus $1.50 for the mailer and pads noted above.

I always mail in a poly sleeve with the record outside the jacket. If there's an original inner sleeve I also remove the record from that and put it in a plain sleeve for mailing. That way, there are no seam splits on either the jacket or the sleeve due to any handling in the mail.
