Description

The Beatles double vinyl LP 1962 - 1966 on Red Vinyl.
Cat. No - PCSP717
Matrix No - YEX 605-3 / YEX606-4 / YEX 907-5 / YEX 908-3
1978 UK First Pressing.

The vinyl is in what I describe in as "Play Worn" that is to say that there are visual and tactile scratches which has led to audible pops and clicks on certain tracks but not all. Some tracks play perfect, some most definitely not.


The sleeve and cover is in "Good" condition. Some fraying around the sleeve opening. The spine is intact with slight compacting. Creasing around the front and back cover. The lyric inserts are in very good condition.


SGT PEPPER is in Blue Vinyl, marked Parlophone PCS 7027, YEX 637. After much searching I have concluded that this is an "unofficial" release. I am aware of some French coloured pressings from the early 80's but I do not believe it to be this release. I should say that I do not like colour vinyl, I don't believe the sound quality is up to it. As such I haven't played it.


The sleeve and cover are in pretty much "Mint" condition.


It's difficult to know what to do with LP's sometimes. I decided to list these because I know there are Beatles completists out there who would love to get their hands on these. But taking into account my own reservations I will be starting this auction at 99 pence with no reserve. Fill your boots.
