Description
Overall, very solid condition-especially for a 50 year old record set! The top opener sleeve is in nice condition (with “stereo” indicator on rear panel), except for the corner dent shown. The “black inners” are still holding together well, although fragile, with one minor tear to one, but no seam-splits. The photos and poster, all and all, are in VG/VG+ condition, some “handling” detected. The records are pretty solid, counting in their age of course; spindle-trails, surface marks, & sleeve-sweeps are present, and playback is Good+/VG with no major issues except the regular surface noise and tics you’d expect from a moderately played set, visually they look VG with handling marks. 3 sides carry -1’s on the runouts, while side 1 carries a -2. This is a true 68’ (transitional 69’ labels) original, with all it’s original innards. The set is just under the VG+ grading overall, otherwise known as “VG”.
Bonus: Time Magazine Special Edition “1968”, featuring a main article, among others, about the “White Album”.
