Description
The Beatles (self-titled) White Album is their ninth studio album originally released in 1968. This is a 1977 re-issue printed and made in Germany, The plain white cover has an embossed raised title 'The Beatles' on the front, with 'Stereo' printed on the back. The album was pressed on limited edition white vinyl for the albums tenth anniversary in 1978. At the time of recording, Yoko Ono's attendance broke with The Beatles' policy regarding wives and girlfriends. The white album reached #1 on the charts in the UK and in the US. Included is a huge folded-poster with photographs of the band on the front, and song lyrics on the back. Also included are a set of four portraits that have themselves become iconic. The album cover is in very good+ condition, the solid white shows some normal age discoloration. Both white vinyl records are in excellent condition, with a dark green apple label on side 1 & 3, and the white apple label on side 2 & 4. Weiss #172-04 173/74. Thank you for looking.
