Welcome to my auctions for an incredible collection of Rock and Pop records from the 60s and 70s.
I grade under a GU10 spotlight, beyond any marks I pay careful attention to spindle marks and also any dullness in the run-in grooves that may indicate repeated needle-drops. This kind of visual grading is the only way to go really as it’s far less subjective than any comments on audio. I’m a collector myself and grade very strictly. You can bid with confidence.
Some of these have been filed for many years and will need (ideally an ultrasonic) clean to sound their best. At the prices some of you will be bidding on these I would hope you have a decent way to clean your vinyl :)

This listing is for The Beatles White Album in an original UK mono pressing, complete with poster and photographs.
Vinyl: VG+ all four sides. Each side in general is deeply shiny but with a smattering of handling marks, some clumsier longer ones but it's a fine copy of this generally battered album. Spindle marks are generally countable except the label relating to plays of Side 1, which is like a spiders web. Side 3 has a small slightly heavier mark, almost like a circle. Side 4 has a radial mark. All four sides need a clean, I can see fingerprints!
As for what issue this is, I have no clue. Can't find the exact etchings on discogs. The matrices are YEX *** -1 throughout. All other etchings are photographed for the sleuths out there.
Sleeve: VG with some waviness and laminate cracking in the spine. Hard to find clean sleeves of this album.
Poster is VG+ having been opened, a bit grubby/brown in spots.

Ignore the item specifics. Number of audio channels should say mono not stereo. I’ve played the record and it is mono :)
