Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. I grade very strictly, both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! The Beatles ‘SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND!' EXTREMELY Rare WIDESPINE sleeve! MONO- NICE COPY!
The early ‘wide spine’ sleeves to these mono and stereo pressings of this famous album were quickly withdrawn after it was found that they took up far too much room when delivered to the music retailers, so it was only the first and most early copies that received covers with this almost book like format, with subsequent pressings receiving the far more common thinner spined covers. This widespine feature to this early copy is slightly rarer in stereo than its mono counterpart this one too is a nice solid respectable example.

Condition:
Outer Sleeve: A very nice solid example which has retained the shape of the spine very well looking very strong and not squashed like so many of these widespine sleeves- a bit of light fraying to the opening edge where the cutout sheet belongs along with some very light and faint tracelines to the inside of the gatefold- however overall a very very nice example. Very Good Plus.
Side One/ Side Two: A very nice clean disc which sounds terriffic too- just couple of light handling marks visable when viewed under bright intense artificial light- however none of the deep dark gloss sheen has been lost indicating that this copy has not recieved much play- the audio is still full and rich and powerful and not distorted, overall an extremely nice playing example. Visual- Excellent, Audio- Excellent.
Labels: Two beautiful labels with just a couple of trails per side. Excellent Plus- Near Mint
Cutout Sheet: Near Mint
Inner sleeve: No splits or tears just a bit of light creasing. Very Good Plus.
