The Beatles - Rubber Soul Vinyl LP - 2nd Press 5/5 Mono - EX/VG+
2nd Pressing of the classic Beatles LP “Rubber Soul” (Variant B) from 1968. Black and Yellow Parlophone labels and KT tax code.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5.
The vinyl is in really nice condition overall and sounds superb. It has some fine hairlines/paper scuffs when viewed under strong light. No deep or obvious marks. It’s been fully play tested and plays really well indeed with no background crackle or noise that I could discern other than some very very low level crackle on the run ins only. It plays with lovely clear audio throughout and is better than almost every copy of this that I have had. EX- visually but play grades a strong EX+
The sleeve is VG+. It has a little wear on the corners, small name written on rear (see photos) and a small 2cm split on bottom edge near opening edge. The spine is clear and perfectly legible, the back is pretty clean other than the name, and better than 90% of copies I have seen.
The original “Emitex” inner is torn on one edge and a bit discoloured. I will include it along with a brand new poly lined inner.
Overall this is a very presentable copy that sounds superb throughout.
