Description
The Beatles - Rubber Soul (UK Mono Vinyl LP -5/-5 Pressing)
U.K. Mono pressing with a Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flip back sleeve. The flip backs have rounded corners at the spine end. The matrix numbers printed on the labels are mis-aligned to the left of the datestamp.
Black & yellow Parlophone labels with silver "Sans Serif" text. Label perimeter text starts with 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD' & ends with 'COPYING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED'.The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Glossy vinyl with great audio. There are some light surface marks and some light crackles on the run-in grooves and between some tracks but the vinyl plays as excellent.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. Glossy laminate and clean, unmarked spine and edges. A bright back cover with just some light foxing near the middle. The original price (probably written by the shop that originally sold the LP in 1965) is written in pencil on the top left corner of the back cover.
Both labels are clean and unmarked with no writing.
Released in 1965 on Parlophone Records Cat: PMC 1267 Matrix numbers: XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5.
Mother stampers: Side 1: AM @ 3 o'clock 2 @ 9 o'clock Side 2: AL @ 4 o'clock 2 @ 9 o'clock.

I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
