Description

A Rubber Soul Stereo copy from 1968 on the UK Parlophone. Matrix 3/3. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse stereo cover. Also includes is the sepia toned Emi advertising sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. But here's the deal...this is the best rendition I've ever heard of RS [inc Mono/Stereo] - clarity is top-level and silence behind the sound is like nothing I've experienced.
Vinyl (Ex+/NM) Again, don't under estimate a grading like this on a true 60's original - I almost never use it as the chance of finding one like this is nigh on impossible. This copy is simply the best copy of Rubber Soul [Stereo or Mono] I've ever heard. It has seen very very little use at all. Under close inspection we can only make out a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are absolutely silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Even Michelle which is a real bugger to find playing well - is very very clean...I mean CLEAN! Interference is pretty much non-existent. You may pick up one or two crackles in a couple of isolated moments [literally]. The transparency on offer here is really very very impressive.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with very little creasing at all. The rear has escaped the usual ageing - perhaps just the very faintest signs of it. All flipbacks are tight and intact. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains great rigidity and it really would be a struggle going better than this copy.
Inner (Ex) Very nice with no marks and only lightes of ageing. One tiny 1cm side split.
