RARE FIRST UK PRESSING of this excellent album (needs no introduction of course...) This is the RAREST PRESSING THERE IS - THE LEGENDARY 'LOUD CUT'!! The 'loud cut' is a different mix which was quickly withdrawn as it was considered a bit too loud and bass-heavy and was replaced with the more 'friendlier' sounding standard mono mix most of us are more familiar with. 'Loud cuts' are easily identifiable as the matrix run-outs on both sides will end in a '-1' ( like this one). This is not the finest example, but is ideal for someone who wants to hear the true original mono mix, which in my opinion is far more powerful and punchier than any other mix of this album, and has never been repressed in any format!! This is the first I have seen in a while! Don't miss out!
Vinyl is in VG condition : lots of surface marks, scuffs and scratches - none are too heavy and hardly any of them are feelable - it plays VG+ with surface noise and sounds a little worn in some parts - still thoroughly enjoyable
Laminated flipback EJ Day sleeve is in VG+ condition : general wear, small creases, edges a little worn, back has yellowed with age and has some staining, still presentable, edges and spine are all fine
