The Beatles - Rubber Soul
PMC1267 MONO
I have spent some time checking this record on the internet and I think that this could be a very rare version but please check all the details in the description and pictures. This is the exact version as described on the www.discogs.com website link below (please cut and paste the link below into your browser for full info.) :

It is a first UK pressing featuring the alternate "Loud Cut" mix as it has XEX579-1 stamped in the runout on side 1 and XEX580-1 on side 2.
It has the tax code KT embossed in the centre with the K and the T either side of the spindle hole on side two only.
The sleeve is in really very good condition considering its age. There aren't any tears, just a bit of very light turning over and wear on the corners. There are some marks on the back in places but nothing serious. The front is very good, possibly a bit of fading and also some small marks. There is quite a bit of reflection from the conservatory roof in the pictures which I couldn't avoid, specially the pictures of the front which has a shiny surface but it really is very good and better than it looks in the pictures.
The inner paper sleeve is lined in what looks a bit like greaseproof paper. I don't know if it's the original one. There is a small tear one side in the centre.
The disc is in good condition and plays well. There are small surface marks, light scratches and scuffs, also some fingerprints but no deep scratches and I haven;t tried cleaning it as not an expert on records and didn't want to damage it. The centre label is good but has some marks around the centre hole each side where it has been put on the record player.

Following a question received I have played the record through both sides now and it plays very well. There is the odd click but no loud pops and no sticking or jumping at all.
