The Beatles Rubber Soul LP 2nd Pressing Mono PMC 1267
Matrix nos - Side 1 XEX 579-5 (1 hp) Side 2 XEX 580-5 (1 1.1 1.1)
Sleeve - 'G&L front laminated sleeve in 'Excellent' condition. Front laminated sleeve is very clean, laminate is flat and bright, a couple of creases near the opening edge. A small amount of feathering on the opening edge. Rear is in a similar condition; bright and clean, very little discoloration, flipbacks in excellent order, no writing or tears. Emitex inner sleeve is in similarly excellent condition, no rips tears or writing.
Labels - In 'Very good' condition. 2nd pressing black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…”text. A little wear and a number of 'spider marks' visible only.
Vinyl - visually in 'Very Good' condition. Audio in 'Excellent' condition. A number of hairlines and paper scuffs are visible under very strong light . No pops, clicks or jumps. One or two crackles audible in the gaps between a couple of tracks, crackle is not heard on the tracks themselves.
A cracking example of this great album.
