Description

An original RS from the period the album was charting [on UK Parlophone]. Matrix 4/4. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks exposed.
Vinyl (Vg+/Vg) In very nice condition and hasn't been abused. Expect a few light marks per side - one or two do just about sound [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. A pretty decent player - but won't bother higher grades. I detected 3-4 ticks early in 'Drive My Car' [no biggy]. There's 4-5 ticks in one isolated spot during 'Nowhere Man' & 'Through You'. The only tracks I detected a bit of background was in the tracks 'Won't See Me' & 'Through You' - they're the only track that's that are vaguely sub-par. Even the fussy tracks plays pretty well and better than the average example[ e.g. GIRL]. Overall a real nice player at a very agreeable price.
Cover (Vg+) Lovely clean front with just a couple of thumbnails at the openings. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing process - some in evidence over toward the opening. A couple of blemishes, but those flipbacks are all intact and secure. Not much edge wear [generally], but it has worn through for two inches middle of the bottom edge. I have internally tape repaired - so it's just a minor cosmetic issue now. The spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
