Description
You are bidding on a first pressing of The Beatles sixth LP "Rubber Soul", a landmark album that saw The Beatles define the concept of an "album" as a single body of work. This is the famed "loud cut" version that was curtailed at the pressing plant on day 1 when it was realised that the record had been mastered too hot. The presses were stopped and a new mono master was cut. In those days though it was a case of "waste not want not" and so the few loud cuts that had been pressed made their way into record shops across the UK. This record has been professionally cleaned on a genuine Keith Monks cleaning system since which it has been played just once to create the online needle drop for you to self grade the audio. The record has been placed in a brand new inner sleeve and a poly outer sleeve. It has had just one owner, a Beatles fan who bought the record upon original release.
Both inner and outer sleeves show the usual signs of ware such as yellowing but are free of graffiti, see photos - 1 front, 2 rear, 3 inner, 4 rear print detail, 5 side 1 label, 6 side 2 label+tax code, 7 side 1 vinyl, 8 side 2 vinyl, 9 spine, 10 side 2 vinyl & 11 pro cleaning session.
