Description
A One Box EMI Pressing on the UK Parlophone label from 1969. Matrix -3/-3. Stampers 2-AH/3-AM. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original flip-back Garrod & Lofthouse cover - also included is the original sepia advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl (NM) An absolute stunner. Please rest assured you will not find a better playing copy than this one. It is amazingly well preserved - a real rarity for a 60's pressing. The vinyl has clearly only seen very light play and has been looked after with great care. The vinyl is shiny like new and under close inspection there are no marks whatsoever. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR MINT level of playback - I do not use this level of grading lightly. Intros and inbetweens are silent and there's not a hint of back-ground, What's even more impressive is the actual quality of playback - this is the best rendition of RS I've ever heard. Perfect tonal balance, bags of details, and a lovely wide frequency range. It is a final upgrade for sure....
Cover (Ex) Remains in terrific condition. A lovely shiny front and a rear with only the very faintest signs of ageing. Very little edge wear at all and the spine 100% intact. Overall, the cover maintains excellent rigidity.
Inner (VG+) No splits just some light ageing and creasing.
