Description
The Beatles – Rubber Soul
Loud-Cut UK Mono
Rare hard to find original 1st pressing with the tonally unbalanced 'Loud-Cut' mix soon to be removed and replaced by another mix.
This pressing wasn't available long before they corrected the mix (I heard the ones that got out were mostly pre-orders), so it's an early pressing of this 1965 album.
KT tax stamp on side 1 and it's straight aligned, not many like this.
Vinyl: VG- plays all the way through with slight surface noise in the background and between tracks. There is a scratch visible on side 1 but does not affect the sound on my table. Still a nice example of this hard to find record.
Cover: VG+/EX- very nice and glossy. name written on the back, but very small (top right). back is nice and white still. part of the bottom flipback seems to be torn, but it's stuck down (previous owner glued it?)
Inner: Original EMITEX inner sleeve in good condition but it has a small split on the bottom. Replacement white inner included to preserve original.
Matrix Numbers: XEX 579-1 & XEX 580-1
