Description
The Beatles Rubber Soul Capitol T 2442, Mono. 1st issue labels without "The Beatles" over their names. Possible rare Decca contract pressing as indicated by a single ring just shy of an inch in diameter, around the spindle hole, but stamped 'P' in runoff vinyl indicating Pitman, NJ. VG/VG condition. Minor light scuffs and scratches to vinyl. Cover is clean, unmarked; with a faint wear ring beginning and some spots of edge wear, especially at corners of spine; a short split in the paper top edge, and another at the spine 1 1/2" long, but neither are forced open- just splits in the paper. Spine title is rubbed but decipherable. The original olive green paper sleeve is in VG condition, with a 3" split at the bottom edge (it has code number PE 12-2EJ, which should mean it was printed in Jacksonville according to on-line experts- just to add to the complexity). Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
