Description

First pressing of Rubber Soul by the Beatles.  This is mono & the matrices are: XEX 579-1 & XEX 580-1.  Tax code is MT.  This first pressing is commonly referred to as the Loud Cut.  This pressing was quickly replaced by the second pressing & so is quite collectable.
The inner sleeve is original & intact with some very minor discolouration.

The sleeve was printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse.  It is marked "patents pending".  The sleeve is in very good condition.  The front is unmarked, the flipbacks are intact.  The rear has some discolouration & the previous owners name written in ink.  The spine is fully legible.
The vinyl is also very good with only superficial marks.  I played the album all the way through on my system & the audio is easily excellent.  Even the run in grooves were quiet.  In my opinion the album played faultlessly.  The one unusual thing about the record is that the previous owner wrote his name between the run out grooves.  He did this very neatly & it does not affect the record being played in any way.  I tried to take a picture but my camera was not good enough(last picture).
UK bidders only.
I will accept returns but the buyer will be responsible for return postage & the record must be returned in the same condition as when I sent it.
The record will be sent in a proper record mailer & the vinyl will be removed from the sleeve.
