Description
This is the original 1965 STEREO pressing of the album "Rubber Soul" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label, catalogue number PCS 3075. Labels have the Gramaphone Company rim and Sold in UK text, with KT tax embossed on label 1. Matrix number Side 1 YEX 178-2, Side 2 YEX 179-2. This is an outstanding copy with only a couple of the lightest sleeve removal lines and no scratches or scuffs, NM. The vinyl gleams and retains it's original sheen. The labels display only one or two very light spindle traces, suggesting very little play. The Emitex inner is in great shape having no rips, slipts or tears and only light corner creases. The Garrod & Lofthouse (Patnets Pending) outer sleeve is outstanding, the front retains it's beautifully laminated sheen displaying only a couple of light thumbnail creases and one corner bump/bruise in the bottom opening edge. The rear of the sleeve is beautifully clean, displaying only the faintest sign of discolouration and one very small orange type mark in the centre of the opening edge (see scan) and that is being fussy, one of the best I have recently seen. This is definately a keeper copy. I am listing a few more similar Beatles albums over the next few days so please see my other auctions.
