   For sale is The Beatles' Rubber Soul, originally released in 1965 on Parlophone Records in the U.K. and imported into the United. This release is the 7th pressing from 1980 as verified from Discogs.com. It has the black and silver Parlophone label, two white and black EMI boxes and the Copyright text that starts with "All rights". At the 11 o'clock position along the rim is the wording "Unauthorized Public Performance, Broadcasting, Copying and Hiring..".  In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched the matrix numbers "VEX 178-6" "HTM" and on side two "VEX 179-5" "HTM". This indicates that this record was mastered by Harry Moss (HTM). I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17, then immediately put the record into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Excellent with one slightly bent seam. The cover is graded as Excellent with faint ring wear and some small stress cracks. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of one or two faint sleeve marks, but very close to Near Mint.  It's play-graded as Excellent only because of one small white in the dead wax between track one and track two on the second side. This caused two rotational ticks during playback. The rest of the record is play-graded as Near Mint. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
