Description

Overall, very very solid condition-especially for a 50 year old record! The sleeve is in nice condition (with “mono” indicator on front panel), except for some storage-wear to the back panel. The rice paper “Emitex” inner is still holding together well with no seam-splits. The record is indeed nice looking still; very few spindle-trails, with light surface marks & sleeve-sweeps present. Playback is rated VG+/EX with no major issues, except the regular surface noise you’d expect from a well kept and well played record from 1966-visually it’s as good looking as it sounds. Both sides of the record carry -2’s on the runouts. KT taxcode present on side 2. This is a true 66’ “Dr. Robert” sleeve with “Dr. Robert” labels, with the period correct* “Emitex” original inner sleeve (*it is argued whether the “Emitex” inners ever came with the “Revolver” album, for their production ceased in 1966, yet, “Emitex” was still being advertised on the rear panel of the picture sleeve, many early “Revolver” albums have shown up for sale including the “Emitex” inner, but the undisputed original inner is the plain white with “patents pending” printed at the bottom). The set is just at the VG+ grading overall, otherwise known as “EX”.
