This superb sounding stereo pressing of their 1966 album dates from 1969 on the short-lived '1-EMI-box' Parlophone label: PCS 7009


1st pressing matrices: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1

Stamper codes: 3/GGG & 2/HT

Vinyl weight: 138g


Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover, complete with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT +

With just a single spindle trail to the side 1 centre hole only, it is clear that this fine has been rarely and carefully played. Both surfaces are exceptionally clean & glossy showing only some harmless wispy paper-type marks beneath halogen but no scratches or scuffs. The sound quality is free from any groove/playwear with just a little low-level vinyl background audible between tracks. The main attraction here the warmth and presence of the audio which is missing from the modern digital-sourced vinyl issue. 

Cover: EXCELLENT

A clean, white & fully intact example with light handling & storagewear only. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be and without any writing or missing paper. Both seams and the spine are unstressed & unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with no writing tears or seam splits.
