This EXCELLENT UK 2nd MONO pressing of their groundbreaking seventh studio album dates from late 1966.

On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009


Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3

Stamper codes: 6/GDO & 3/HH

Vinyl weight: 156g


Housed in a front-laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.

Complete with original EMI advertising inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT

A clean & unworn exmaple which has been sparingly played on good equipment only. The sound quality is clean, clear & unworn with just a trace of low-level vinyl backgournd in some quiter passages but no clicks, pops or any other distractions. Visually both labels are unblemished with just a small handful of faint spindle trails around each centre hole. Both playing surfaces are very clean & glossy with just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines beneath strong light. The disc appears slightly uneven when playing, but this does not affect sound or play in any way and it is for that reason only that prevents it from being 'EX+'.

  Cover: EXCELLENT

Clean, strong & fully intact with slight toning to the unscratched high-gloss front panel. Apart from a tiny bruise to the lower right corner, there is little else to fault on the front or the rear of this fine exmaple. All flipbacks & seams are fully intact and the spine is clean & fully worded.
