THE BEATLES ( THIS WAS THE THEIR 7th EMI / PARLOPHONE ALBUM AND CONSIDERED BY MANY AS THEIR BEST ! THIS IS A TRUE ORIGINAL UK STEREO 1st PRESSING WHICH DATES FROM THE INITIAL RELEASE ON THE 5th AUGUST 1966. AS THIS IS THE EARLIEST RELEASE IT HAS THE PRINTING ERROR FOR ' DOCTOR ROBERT' PRINTED AS 'DR ROBERT ' WHICH WAS QUICKLY CORRECTED FOR THE 2nd LABELS.
BOTH LABELS HAVE THE SOLD IN UK.. TEXT AND GRAMOPHONE WORDED RIMS WITH THE KT TAX CODE PRESENT ON SIDE 1 , HOUSED IN A GARROD & LOFTHOUSE COVER WITH FANTASTIC ART WORK FROM KLAUS VOORMANN AND THE SMALL STEREO LOGO IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER .

This laminated front,tri-flapped GARROD & LOFTHOUSE cover is in generally nice and clean condition with no major faults .The front panel is very bright with no laminate peeling or bubbles and just some light creases. The spine is in very solid shape with fully readable text and the corners square with just a hint of bruising.The rear flaps are all intact with no damages otherthan a couple of light marks.The rear panel has no writing or stickers present and just the odd faint mark and some light ringwear.Overall a nice presentable copy of this rarer stereo cover ( see-pics ) strong VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides retain a nice glossy shine with nothing more than a couple of faint hairlines visable.No nasty scratches or scuffs visable just a couple of non audable fine surface lines.Both sides play through very well with clear and bright audio, there are 1 or 2 very light ticks during the course of playing both sides and some very light background noise on the brief occassion but overall it's a clear sounding and nice looking copy ! ( see-pics) Visualy and Audibly EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION
LABELS Both labels have the Gramophone worded rims and 'sold in uk .... ' print present, with the 'Dr Robert printing error on side 2 and the KT tax code is present on Side 1. Both labels are in clean and bright shape with no writing, stains or stickers present and nothing more to fault than some light spindle traces around each unworn centre hole and a tiny scratch on the right hand of side 1 ( see-pics ) VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION ! INNERPlain white inner sleeve with Made in Gt Britain and patents lower print .Very clean with notghing more than some storage creases ! ( see-pic )
