Artist: The Beatles Title: Revolver Label: Parlophone – PMC 7009 Release: UK 1966 Format: Vinyl 12" LP, 33rpm Genre: Classic rock, pop Notes: Early UK mono pressing. XEX 605-2 RLM 6 / XEX 606-2 RLD 6 Side 2: 'Doctor Robert' on label, 'Dr. Robert' on Sleeve
An early UK mono pressing of the classic Beatles LP Revolver. The labels are the Yellow Parlophone with a black background and silver writing, featuring “The Gramophone co….” rim text, with “Sold In The UK….” text across the labels. There is a KT tax stamper code embossed on side 1 only around the spindle hole
Label on Side 2 states track 4 as “Doctor Robert” but the sleeve still has title as "Dr. Robert".
The Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve is very clean and fresh with some very minor creases. Front is laminated, rear of sleeve is not. The discs themselves are in very nice condition, with only a few visible faint lines.
EMI paper inner sleeve, believed to be original but can't be certain.
The Master or Matrix, Mother and Stamper numbers and codes printed in the run-out grooves are as follows:
Side 1: XEX 605-2 9 o'clock: 6 3 o'clock: RLM
Side 2: XEX 606-2 9 o'clock: 6 3 o'clock: RLD

Both sides: nice vinyl, very clean. Only a couple of very very faint hairlines.
Sleeve Grading: VG++
No splits rips writing or tears - very nice and clean front and rear.

M: Still sealed, or opened but unplayed. VG++ / NM: Vinyl: Clean vinyl, minimal background noise, plays great. Sleeve: No rips, tears or handwriting, hardly any edgewear, looks almost like new. VG+: Vinyl: Some faint surface hairlines or very light surface scratches, still clean, plays nice. Sleeve: Some minimal edge wear, mild ring wear, scuffs. VG: Vinyl: Some faint surface scuffs & scratches, possibly audible, some light surface noise or crackle in parts, still plays well. Sleeve: Some light age wear, edge wear, corner wear, scuffs, stain, possible small seam split. G+/G: Vinyl: Some surface scuffs & scratches with feelable scratches, but still playable with some light surface noise or crackle in parts. Sleeve: Possible seam splits, tape, writing, age wear evident.
