Description
The Beatles - Revolver - 1968 Parlophone MONO Reel to Reel Tape Record.
An incredibly rare 44 year old item.
Catalogue Number TA-PMC 7009 - housed in a jewel case.
Twin Track - you played it one way and then had to play it the other way around before you could listen to the same side again (not unlike cassettes from the 70s and 80s).
MONO
The jewel case is in PERFECT original condition - so many of them by now have cracks, chips or broken hinges. Not this one...
The tape has the original printed "leader" and is in the original 4" EMITAPE spool inside the box (again, see pics below).
Ten years ago, in Record Collector magazine, this was valued at £35-£40 and I can't think the value has gone down...
I'm listing FIVE Beatles Reel to Reel tapes on eBay this week - if anyone wants to make me a sensible offer for the whole lot then I'll throw in a mains powered 1960s Reel to Reel tape player as well - in full working order. This can be connected to a modern home HiFi by virtue of a DIN to RCA Phono connector so you can actually listen to these! Anyone who wants the player will however have to collect it as it's a tonne weight!
