Description

A Danish 1st issue of Revolver from 1966 - around the time that this album was still in the charts. Matrix YEX605/6 '1/1'. Please note the matrix is identical to the UK 1st Stereo Press and therefore this LP was pressed using UK metal parts in Denmark. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original flip-back cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with top-level clarity and minimal interference. The only thing we could pick out was in track 1 side 2 - there's a touch of light static just audible. Other than that we are talking one seriously good pressing which, due to it's UK origins, will more than hold its own against an original UK copy.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after. Lovely white shiny front and a rear free of the usual ageing which so often afflicts original covers. The spine is totally intact although it does exhibit some light ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and totally belies its age.
