Revolver

Reel to Reel Tape   Capitol  ZT 2576  7-1/2 IPS

The Beatles classic 1966 album on the rare reel to reel format at the prefered 7-1/2 IPS speed. What makes this one even more rare is that it's the only Capitol Beatles reel to reel tape that was released at this speed. All other Capitol 7-1/2 IPS Beatles tapes were released through Ampex. The box on this one is brown with no splits or tears, but a few scuffs around the edges. The front picture shows minor wear around the edges.  The Biasonic sticker is attached on the lower left bottom. The back is white with black text and contains minor age discoloration with most down the right side. There is also a tiny tear in the upper right corner. The reel is VG, tan with a gold label. Please check out the scans to get a better idea of my descriptions. Revolver came out on reel to reel in three variations, Capitol 3-3/4 IPS, Ampex 7-1/2 IPS and the Capitol 7-1/2 IPS version posted here. I will have up for auction the other versions as well for any you who want to collect all the variations.  Also, over the next few weeks, I will be posting almost every Beatle reel released, 7-1/2, 3-3/4, 7", 5", some UK reels, solo reels and Beatles related.
