Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl looks great and has retained its original high sheen. It has clearly been very well cared for. Under bright light just fine hairlines and sleeve removal-type marks were visible on either side. I have played the entire LP and it sounds great with no repetitive clicks anywhere. There is just some background noise and soft crackle audible in the quiet parts and the run-ins/outs, fades, silent grooves and intros, the record has obviously been played a fair bit so there are some areas of minor wear which cause very light distortion This is not a mint or near mint record but it plays very well throughout NO jumps, NO sticking and NO repetitive clicks anywhere. It was a real pleasure to listen to. Just some light crackles here and there. There are 2 more noticeable marks to the record which I have tried to highlight in pictures, but these don't cause any repetitive clicks.
Labels: Both labels look great with absolutely no signs of damage, writing, stickers etc and just typical light spindle marking. (see pictures)
Sleeve: The E. J. Day sleeve is really nice and clean with no major damage, a couple of discolouration spots which I have highlighted in the photos, mainly near opening edge on rear. Flip back shows some yellowing spots where lamination ends
Spine is excellent with no damage /splits
Inner sleeve: Original plain 'Patents Applied for' inner sleeve which again shows some discolouration and creasing but no splits /rips
