Description
The Beatles Revolver vinyl LP 1st press stereo 1966 - plays well, low numbers
Doctor Robert on the record label and Dr. Robert on the sleeve.
K.T. Stamp on side 1
Very similar to The Beatles - Revolver but with different runout matrix. This release also has Dr. Robert printed on the jacket and Doctor Robert printed on the record label. KT embossed on side A. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd (Printed and made by)
This is perhaps a 1st press variant "B-2" with the change of "Dr." to "Doctor" on label side B. "This probably occurred within a short time after the LP was first released. Still considered a 1st. ref - www.discogs.com/release/16165408-The-Beatles-Revolver
First pressing. August 5, 1966. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K.” text. Plain white or white & black “LP advertising” inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 605-1; Side 2: YEX 606-1.
Variation B. As variation A, but the “Dr. Robert” error on side 2 has been corrected, now correctly reading “Doctor Robert”. This probably occurred within a short time after the LP was first released.
