Description
Variant with deep groove in the label area.
WITHOUT RCA etched in the dead wax.
? both stamped in runout means it is manufactured by Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Los Angeles, CA.
Original mono release, black label with color band without "subsidiary" rim text.
This is the first American pressing, with credits to 'Lennon-McCartney' on labels. Second pressings used the writers' full names.
On the back of the jacket there is a "6" close to RIAA logo.
Features the US-only MONO mix.
Comes with original inner sleeve, front sleeve has a couple of minor scuffs, some kid from the '60 has written "A.H." lightly in blue pencil on Paul's face, edges are good, there's spine damage in the center but not completely split (see pic 3), no ring wear
LP plays fine with some surface noise, a few scuffs on the vinyl, no pops or skips, very nice labels. Still sounds really fab in MONO.
Not a perfect copy by any means but still viable.
Ships in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard backing
