A very rare opportunity to own a 12x12 'Beatles Anthology' shop promo display card hand signed by John Lennon's original Quarrymen band members Len Garry, Rod Davis and and Colin Hanton. In addition, it has also been hand signed by the only original living member of The Quarrymen, Bill Smith - the band that gave birth to The Beatles!
It has also been signed by Chas Newby who played bass with The Beatles for a short time replacing Stuart Sutcliffe when the band returned from West Germany in 1960 and Bill Harry - the founder of 'Mersey Beat' Liverpool newspaper of the early 1960s and one of John Lennon's class mates at Liverpool Art College.
Additional signatures include Freda Kelly - fan club secretary, Julia Baird - John Lennon's half sister, photographer Paul Saltzman - the man behind the camera capturing some of the most intimate photographs of the band during their visit to India, Richard Langham - worked as second engineer on many of The Beatles' earliest recordings including their first album Please Please Me, Eddie Kramer - In the course of a production and engineering career that has spanned over 4 decades, Kramer has been behind the boards and behind the camera for the biggest names in music - Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Kiss, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin... Alongside George Martin, he worked as engineer for The Beatles at their recordings of 'All You Need Is Love' and 'Baby You're A Rich Man' at Olympic Sound Studios, Barnes London, Pete Best - Original Beatles drummer before Ringo Starr, Joe Flannery - Business associate and partner of Brian Epstein and Leslie Cavendish - Vidal Sassoon trained stylist and personal hairdresser to The Beatles.
An incredibly rare item with 14 signatures of those who have played a key part in The Beatles history! Only one available.
In very good condition overall with a couple of staple holes (evidence of having been displayed up on a wall in a record shop) The holes are hardly noticeable from the front of the item but evident on the reverse (see pics)
I am currently in the process of downsizing my large autograph collection and will always provide photo proof where available.
