Description
Up for auction is The Beatles Mega Rare Promo original (not a copy) Picture Sleeve "The Record That Started Beatlemania" (VJ-581) "Please Please Me/From Me To You" (1964). As Beatlemania was fast gaining momentum, Vee Jay combined the 'A' sides of their two 1963 discs and released "Please Please Me"/"From Me To You" (VJ 581). Promotional copes were sent out with a special picture sleeve known as "The record that started Beatlemania." This sleeve advertises the upcoming appearance by the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show.
The sleeve and record are in great condition!
The sleeve is graded VG+ due to some slight ring wear on the cover and a super small bend on the top right corner. This sleeve is honestly beautiful and doesn’t have any staining or discoloration. There are no tears or seem splits.
The Record is a strong EXCELLENT. The only thing keeping this from being better is some very light hairlines when looked under a bright light, most likely from being kept in a sleeve. The labels are also super clean as well and have no writing on them! This record might have only been played a few times if that!
Please feel free to ask any questions or reach out if you would like more photos.
The record will be packaged super carefully with the record in another sleeve separated from the promo sleeve. If you would like to request a different mailing option I can accommodate to your request.
This is an opportunity to own a super rare record that barely ever comes up for sale, let alone in this condition!!
