In this offering we have RUBBER SOUL by John, Paul, George and Ringo (Capitol Records, T 2442). It is a beautiful, monophonic microgroove recording (high fidelity) playable on monophonic and on stereo phonographs.

Originally released December 6, 1965, the jacket is a rare #4 printing in very nice condition (Jacksonville, Ill). All seams intact and sturdy; spine nicely blocked and quite strong. Name written on front surface upper left corner (see photo); colours are bright and vibrant, and the white spaces show only a hint of ring wear; no dirt. A very solid, EX or better jacket, even with the obvious flaws.
The inner sleeve shows minor wear but none of the usual bad things that happen to paper: Colours are bright and clear, and there are no tears, creases or writing; most of the ads feature pop, rock or country albums. Inner sleeve rates at least EX MINUS.
The LP is absolutely gorgeous. The rainbow is lustrous, resplendent, brilliant and the wax itself is MINT, pristine, perfect, flawless, completely without one single extraneous mark or blemish, even a slight one. This is the super-rare first pressing without “subsidiary” printed on the circumference of the label at bottom and without the word "Beatles" appearing above their names; the print is silver. Without a doubt this is a first, an original pressing; the very very first one off the pressing machine!
The original luster of the vinyl shines through! I handle the record with clean, white, cotton gloves. It is a jewel!
