The Beatles ‘REVOLVER’ album - considered one of most ICONIC and COLLECTIBLE Albums of the 20th Century - was released by Parlophone UK on August 5th 1966. EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER by Collectors around the World today.
Album Description/Condition:
This ORIGINAL 1966 UK Parlophone heavyweight mono Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Sold in UK…..’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in very niceExcellent Plus condition. An undamaged set of record labels, with no discolouration or fading to any of the printed text, and nothing more than just a few short light centre spindle lines on each label, this issue has the abbreviated song title *Dr Robert*.
Side 1 matrix: XEX 605-2 and Side 2 XEX 606-2.
Side 1 stampers: 5 HG and Side 2: 6 OH.
The embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
Side 1 of the heavyweight vinyl disc is in Excellent Plus condition, very clean surface, all that is visible are a couple of light non sounding surface hairlines.
Side 2 of the vinyl disc is in Excellent condition, this side shows more surface marks than side one, however none of the marks are feelable.
Audio Quality:
ALL tracks play with a superb and POWERFUL Mono sound quality, no skips, and very mild background crackle on side, otherwise a great fresh mono sound quality.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL lined Emitex Inner Bag, which is in Excellent condition, NO seam splits, and just light creasing.
…And is housed in it’s ORIGINAL, Front LAMINATED, FIRST ISSUE Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Patents Pending sleeve, which is in superb condition, printed ‘mono’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flip backs to the reverse.
The sleeve is in SUPERB Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, the Laminated front panel is CLEAN and FIRM - still retains its deep gloss shine, there is light record indentation visible, the reverse panel of the sleeve is in undamaged condition, showing a clean black, back panel, with just very mild handling signs, there is no fading or ring wear, all three of the flipbacks are undamaged, the spine edge is undamaged, and all print is legible.
A very nice example of this original 1966 iconic Beatles Revolver Album.
