RARE MONO FIRST PRESSING WITH THE RARE ALTERNATE VERSION OF TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS, AND WITH A FIRST ISSUE E.J. Day Sleeve.
The Beatles 1966 Iconic UK Album entitled Revolver. This example has the rare side 2 matrix of, XEX 606-1. The LP comes in it’s original Made In Great Britain lined inner bag, and is housed in it’s original Ernest J. Day front laminated flipback first issue Revolver sleeve.
Album Description and Condition:
The original 1966 UK mono Parlophone Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Sold in UK…..’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in superb Excellent condition, clean record labels with several signs of play to both record labels.
There is a very clear *KT* Tax Code embossed to the centre of the side 1 record label.
Side 1 matrix: XEX 605-2 and Side 2 XEX 606-1
Stampers: Side 1 has 1A and Side 2 has the Mother Stamper: 2 RL. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc is in very clean Excellent condition, with a few light surface hairlines and a small non sounding scratch on track 1side 2, there are no deep scratches or scuffs of any kind.
Having played the album through, the play quality is good, there are no skips, clicks or pops, but does play with background crackle.
The LP comes in its original lined inner bag, and is housed in its original front laminated, Ernest J.Day & Co. Ltd. London sleeve, printed ‘mono’ to the top right hand corner.
The E.J. Day sleeve is in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. The front laminated panel still retains its gloss shine, with only mild record storage signs. The back Panel of this sleeve is clean and undamaged, showing only light handling signs. The spine edge and other edges of this sleeve are undamaged. The bottom flipback of the sleeve is creased at the corner.
