You are bidding on a very rare and desirable record.
Please Please Me / From Me To You, Vee-Jay VJ-581. January 30, 1964. DISK JOCKEY ADVANCE COPY. The promotional copy for this record, differs from those previously issued by Vee-Jay. This label has blue brackets logos on the left and right sides of the center hole and black print above and below the center hole. The words “PROMOTIONAL COPY” appear in blue below the logos. This record was manufactured by Monarch Records. In all likelihood, the number of promotional copies pressed did not exceed a few thousand units.
Condition: Graded conservatively as VG+
Please Please Me side: "Pfursick" written in pall point pen ink on the label. The label has some minor minor ring wear. The record shows some wear, n the form of minor surface scratches. Plays very clean.
From Me To You side: "Dolly" written in ball point pen on the label. Some minor ring wear and some minor surface scratches on record. No major flaws apparent and record plays very clean.
