Description
This is an original 1963 UK mono pressing of 'Please Please Me' by The Beatles, released on the Parlophone label with catalogue number PMC 1202. The front laminated Ernest J. Day flipback sleeve is in used condition with visible wear, edge creases, and some peeling in the upper right corner. The text on the spine is partially worn but still legible. The back cover includes the text 'Emitex' and credits George Martin as the producer. The vinyl itself has visible marks and surface scratches typical of a well-played record, but retains some gloss. The label on Side 1 shows the publishing credits and matrix number XEX 421. A deeper cleaning may improve playback quality. Please note this item is being sold on behalf of St Peter's Hospice to support their charitable work. This is an excellent opportunity for Beatles fans and collectors to own a piece of music history. Please note that this record has not been play tested.
