Car Boot Soul Feb 2026 Auction: Classic Rock
This month we are auctioning off nearly 400 records and CDs from our Classic Rock collection. This is all our remaining Classic Rock stock and includes stock copies but also some very rare first editions. The condition of almost all these items is great. We are doing this to focus exclusively on Funk, Soul, Jazz, Reggae & Hip-hop (for now!).

UK Stereo 4th Press (PCS 3042) with 'Recording First Published', no 'Sold In UK' label text - VG+ with a few light surface marks/with Emitex/VG+ correct large stereo second printing sleeve, some light wear to the reverse, elsewhere lovely and clean). KT tax code.

This is a 4th Stereo pressing. Other 4th Stereo pressing variants can be found here: [r6136334] [r8148352] [r9449087] The 3rd/4th Stereo transition pressing variants can be found here: [r5872487] [r8870355] KT is the UK tax code after 1st July 1963 (see close up photo of label that shows the 'K' and 'T' letters on either side of the centre hole on Side 2) This version matches descriptions of Fourth Pressings (1963) according to Beatles Collecting Guide website regarding Fourth Pressings: - The standard yellow block writing Parlophone label. - The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." - The label DOES have "Recording first published 1963", but NOT "Sold in the U.K..." statements. - The word "mono" (or stereo) on the front cover is larger than in later editions. - Sleeve is printed and made by "Ernest J Day & Co Ltd" with large "stereo" text on the front cover. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cover: - Angled ''flipback'' corners on spine, straightcut on opening edge - ''Made and Printed in Great Britain'' - ''Printed and Made by Ernest J.
