THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This fine sounding, mid-1963 UK STEREO pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK...' text and have 'The Parlophone Co...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.
Earliest matrices: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper codes: 1/GO & 1/T
Vinyl weight: 167g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed tri-flipback cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright and clean set with some faint spindle trails around each slightly worn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Perfectly clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear a few light surface marks and hairlines on side 2, mostly consistent with inner-sleeve removal. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp add a few more light marks, but nothing major.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and all tracks are free from any groove/playwear distortion. My play-check detected an occasional light tick and low-level vinyl background between tracks, but nothing of any significance. The overall warmth and clarity of sound will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An exceptional example of this fragile cover which retains an unworn high-gloss front panel, free from storagwear rubbing, 'thumbnails' or creasing.
All corners are great shape with just a small bruise to the lower right. Both opening edges are clean & undamaged.
The exposed rear panel is extremely clean with only a few age-related blemishes & storage but no writing or missing paper.
All of the delicate flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are fully intact and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with minor storage wrinkling only.
