THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This 1st-class 1963 UK MONO pressing of their debut album is on the black & yellow label: PMC 1202
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.
1st pressing matrices: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stamper codes: 13/RPP & 8/RML
Vinyl weight: 159g
Housed in a superb 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed tri-flipback cover, with original rice-paper lined EMI inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean set with minor centre hole wear but no visible spindle trails.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with only some minor light inner-sleeve storage marks beneath halogen light.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding, barely played example sounds fresh & clean throughout. Aside from some regular low-level vinyl background between tracks and a trace of wear on 'Twist & Shout', there is little else to fault.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A fine example which given the poor quality of paper used is rarely found in this condition.
The front panel retains a beautiful totally unscratched high-gloss laminate bearing just a few small edge wrinkles but no 'thumbnail's or any ring/storage rubbing.
All corners are clean & unworn and both opening edges are immaculate.
The exposed rear panel is clean, white & unblemished.
There is a small number written on the flipback in the upper right corner which could be erased.
Both seams and the unworded spine are unstressed and unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & crisp with just a few gentle storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
