Early STEREO pressing of the Beatles Please Please me album on the yellow and black label.
Matrix numbers are YEX 94 -1 and YEX 95 -1. The label for side one has the KT stamp code.
This is the first pressing on the Yellow and Black label without recording first published..on the labels and housed in an EJ Day sleeve with the Photo: Angus McBean starting after the s in songs.
The vinyl is in great shape with just three marks across the first three tracks on side two, these do not produce any clicks, skips or jumps, Other than these side two is in Ex condition. Side one is in Ex condition with no marks other than handling and sleeve removable, the odd very light wispy line.
The record plays loud and clear with hardly any background noise even over the marked areas. Also the record has no warping and plays flat on my turntable.
The labels are in Ex condition with no rips, writing or stickers or heavy spindle wear.
The first edition EJ Day sleeve with the large stereo in the top right hand corner and the Angus McBean credit in the far right hand corner starting after the s in songs is in Vg+ condition. The front is really quite nice with no rips, writing, creases or heavy bumps to the corners. The rear of the sleeve is not too bad with some wear to the flipbacks. There is no writing, rubbing and the handling dirt is quite minimal for a sleeve of this age. Please see photo's. The top edge of the sleeve is in good order with the odd nick as is the spine with no nicks and the text is untouched. The bottom edge does have some wear but is not split.
The inner sleeve is the correct Emitex tracing paper lined inner which is in Ex condition with no writing, rips or seam splits.
The record will be sent removed from all these sleeves and put into a separate added sleeve to stop any damage in transit.
