The Beatles ; Please PLease Me / Ask Me Why Vinyl record 45 . Parlophone 45 - R 4983 This is the very first UK pressing of The Beatles second hit single Please Please Me. The original red label is complete with its push out centre. To confirm that this really is a true first pressing ; Side a matrix ; 7 XCE 17217 -1N Side b matrix ;7 XCE 17218 -1N side A also has the mother stamper ; MPT1 L Side B also has the mother stamper ; MPT2 L The labels have " The Parlophone Co. Ltd." and " RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963 " No " Sold in UK .... " Although this is by no means a perfect copy it still plays well and sounds great. IT DOES NOT COME WITH A ORIGINAL PARLOPHONE SLEEVE !!
