The Beatles - Please Please Me PMC 1202 UK Mono edition
Original 1963 LP, UK 4th pressing, scarce Mono edition. A well played copy- at first glance a fair few light marks. Visually not amazing, however it plays very well indeed; all of the marks seem to be fairly superficial when it comes to actually playing the record! There is very little noise between tracks. These deep old mono pressings seem very robust.
Original flipback laminated sleeve, yellowing to rear and a few small bumps and creases. Original Emitex liner.

Fourth pressing, summer 1963 – January 1964. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Front laminated cover, with large “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Recording first published 1963?. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label.
I would grade the record as VG (but plays better), the sleeve as VG+. Certainly not a museum quality piece but still a highly enjoyable piece of 50 year old pop history!
