THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This exquisite UK mono pressing dates from spring 1963 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK...' text, include 'Recording First Published..' & have 'Parlophone Co...' rims.
An 'MKT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stamper codes: 1,7/GAP & 4,5/GAR
Vinyl weight: 174g
Housed in an exceptional 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with a large 'mono' front indicator.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' poly-lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
A 1st-class pair showing with no more than two or three faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a couple of barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath halogen light.

This time-capsule example looks like it left the shops last week, let alone 55 years ago.
The high-gloss front panel is 'as new' with scratching, disc impression, let alone any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or spine bends.
All corners are perfectly sharp and unworn, even the most easily and frequently damaged lower right.
The exposed rear panel is pristine white & totally unblemished and all of the delicate flipbacks are undamaged.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine clearly & fully worded.
You will not be disappointed.
