Description
The Beatles - Please Please Me - Original Parlophone Mono - PMC 1202 - Rare Small 33 1/3 Label
Condition
The heavyweight vinyl is in good condition. Nice original sheen. Under my halogen downlights there are a fair number of sleeve removal marks and some non feelable needle marks. There are two larger marks on side one and one on side two. These are not scratches but look like larger needle marks across the vinyl. Taking all of this into consideration I would conservatively grade as VG-
Side One - XEX 421-1N. PM stamped at 2 o'clock and 1 at nine o'clock Side Two - XEX 422-1N. RR stamped at 3 o'clock and 1 at nine o'clock
The labels have some spindle marks on both sides. Letter "R" written on side one. Grades as EX
The sleeve has ageing, corner scuffs, and feathering in places but no tears, rips or writing. Grades as VG
The Emitex inner has some creasing. Grades as EX+
A nice copy of a harder to get label variation
Please note that I visually grade under halogen downlighters. This shows every mark as ordinary bulbs and sunlight can make the most scratched record look mint!
